After examining the history and impact of sheep on the scottish landscape I translated the damaging action of these animals hoofs on the land by undergoing a parallel process of rubbing, tearing and stamping the wool known as ‘felting’. Becoming an erosive force myself this work resulted on a textile patched piece.
